Gmail Notifier Plus rests in the new Windows 7 taskbar and allows you to easily access several components of Gmail quickly. The app uses Gmail’s secured RSS feed to retrieve mail. The notifier has two major features that make it a good implementation into the new taskbar.
This new GMAIL notifier is similar to the current official Google notifier application that sits in the system tray and notifies users of new messages in their Gmail inbox. This version of the Gmail notifier is tuned for Windows 7 only and runs as a task bar. The program will display unread email messages and other information and links related to the Gmail account directly in the Windows 7 taskbar.
